In this episode, we talked with three programmers successfully delivering a range of projects and programs online for artists and arts audiences. Stuart Buchanan, Head of Digital Programming at the Sydney Opera House shared their expansive range of digital programs, including recording and presenting long-form live performances online. From Moogahlin Performing Arts, Ali Murphy-Oates talked about presenting culturally immersive programs by First Nations artists and communities, and their company’s recent turn towards digital accessibility. Based in regional NSW, Alex Wisser of Cementa discussed his organisation’s use of digital technology to create an online community of remote and regionally-based artists from around Australia, an initiative that pre-dates COVID-19.
